Maybe my eye bags are sexy?
DiscussionI was just looking at photos of an old Hollywood heartthrob and noticed for the first time his under eye dark circles and bags. And he always looked so smoldering. I don't think he'd have that same sexy intensity without them.
I have a bit of a complex about mine and I'm always trying to find ways to minimize them. This opens my eyes, pun intended, to the thought that maybe they're not so bad.
If you're a guy and otherwise handsome, then yes. He looks like he stays up all night contemplating and being tormented by deep thoughts. If not, then I don't know.
There are plenty of beautiful women with eye bags too.

Obsessed with the idea of a film star who's been dead since 1955, and famously died in his early 20s, posting pictures of himself on a skincare sub for people over 30. As a fellow sleep deprived person, this made me actually laugh out loud.

Sexy, yes, but it could also be an allergy shiner. My son had huge bags before we learned what that meant.
Are they dark? That's a sign of iron deficiency. I've got them and I'm working on my iron issues. People think I'm sick.
Eye bags are much better than fat loss under the eyes, that's for sure.
Why? Genuinely curious. As I've aged I've developed fatty eye bags, and the purple darkness under my eyes that I've always had is worse. I absolutely hate them. I'm otherwise quite baby faced and I think they look so off on me.
An article about an actor's character in a hospital drama called his crow's feet artisanal. Slightly different, but yes, flaws can be sexy and tell a story.
